The central stone, basins, niches and dome carry a strong typological memory. A contemporary interpretation reconnects them with circulation, privacy and use rather than repeating them as decoration.
Stone selection considers absorption, slip resistance, surface temperature, chemical durability and repairability. Joints, edges and drainage lines are also part of the visual composition.
Steam and condensation are controlled through ceiling geometry, insulation continuity, ventilation and surface temperatures.
